Umaga's opponent

Donald Trump's representative in his hair v. hair match with Vince McMahon is none other than Bobby Lashley. Lashley is a relatively new wrestler, but he's received a huge push since he's debuted.

Last Raw, it was revealed that Stone Cold Steve Austin will be the "special guest referee" for the match. Now there is no question that McMahon will lose. McMahon and Stone Cold feuded for the majority of the 90's and I can see Stone Cold shaving McMahon's head as one of those "Wrestlemainia Momments" that will feature heavily in future Wrestlemania ad campaigns.

Personally, I don't care about the match at all. Umaga never speaks on the mic. Lashley has horrible mic skills -- he's known as the soft spoken wrestler. How weak is that? So basically, both wrestlers have zero charisma. Plus, they aren't that great in the ring. Also, I couldn't care less about the Stone Cold v. McMahon rivalry rehash. I thought that feud was boring in the '90s, so why would it be any interesting 10 years later?

This year's Wrestlemania is shaping up to be the worst of all time.

I'm sorry, I don't know much about wrestling at all, or the people you are talking about, so I'm probably not gonna be very helpful. Are Wrestlemanias only once a year? And who would you like to see instead?
Here is a link you might find interesting...

Yeah wrestling just isn’t what it was back in the day. I used to be a huge fan! Ordered the fights, went to special tournaments when they came to my hometown. I agree that the wrestlers just aren’t as charismatic as they used to be. Wrestling is about the fighting but the rivalry is what makes the crowd go wild. I think wrestlers nowadays look like they have taken too much steroids and there is not much individuality between each of them. They are just gigantic and according to you don’t have much mic skills. Don’t you miss the good ole’ WWF. In my opinion, the WWE doesn’t even compare.

For some reason I can't get any of my links to work this week. But if I send them separately, it does. WWF

I used to watch wrestling with my Dad when I was younger. I haven't watched for years and I don't remember any of the story lines. However, I did hear about the Donald Trump thing. I would have liked to see some video. Manybe even an example of how bad those wrestlers are. Perhaps, you can also include this Talent Roster. It may help clarify who is who.

I don't know too much about wrestling...but I can understand how it feels when something you really enjoy (like a TV show...or wrestling) just lets you down. Like right now I'm feeling that way towards Scrubs (on NBC). I used to be really into it, but now that it's in syndication it's all over the place and the show just isn't as funny or gripping as it used to be. But I still watch, for now, to see if things pick up again.

Your taking me back to the days when I watched wrestling Andy. I loved the WWF as a kid; The Ultimate Warrior and Ricky "The Dragon" were my favorites. I stopped following in the early 90's but picked back up during the whole Brett Hart/Vince McMahon thing. I watched Raw, Heat, and Smackdown faithfully until '02.

Two wrestlers with no mic skills in the main event at Wrestlemania? What's up with that?
Remember Hogan/Warrior in Wrestlemania 6? Those were the days...

I think it’s pretty rad that you’re dedicating your entire blog to wrestling. I use to love Wrestling as a kid. In later years I realized that wrestling is nothing more than a male sop opera… and that’s cool. Every not and again when channel surfing I will stop and watch wrestling, but I don’t know who is who? This use to be my favorite wrestler. Ultimate Warrior
Turns out he is a fucking asshole. DICK!
